OTTAWA — Franklin County Commissioner David Hood and his wife Helen, and family will take and deliver donations to Joplin. They’re looking for paper goods, slightly worn clothes and shoes, nonperishable food, slightly used toys and stuffed animals; and personal hygiene items such as shampoos, conditioners, toothpastes and toothbrushes. You can drop off donations at the back door at the Ottawa Senior Center or 1119 N. Hickory in Ottawa. Call the Hoods at 242-5889 or RaJeanna Barnhart at 242-7440.
