READING – K-170 will remain closed through the city of Reading because of tornado damage in the area. The Kansas Department of Transportation said the highway, which borders the northwestern end of Melvern Lake, will be closed until further notice. No marked detours will be provided. KDOT said drivers will need to use alternate routes.
