KANSAS CITY, Kan. — A federal jury in Kansas City has ruled that the Ottawa school district wasn’t guilty of age discrimination when it fired a former maintenance worker. David Ribeau Jr. said that the school district had terminated him because of his age and hired a younger replacement. The district said it terminated him because he didn’t perform his duties. He had worked for the district for 23 years.
