WELLSVILLE — A Wellsville motorcyclist and his passenger received minor injuries as a result of a crash with an ATV Saturday afternoon. The Franklin County Sheriff’s office said Philip Van Hoecke, 41, Wellsville, was riding a dirt bike north in the 4400 block of Vermont Road near Wellsville when an ATV driven by Hollie Geist, 13, Wellsville, pulled out in front of him. The sheriff’s office said Geist hit the bike as Van Hoecke was laying it down. Van Hoecke and his passenger, Reece Williams, 12, Wellsville; received minor injuries. The sheriff’s office said they refused transport to a hospital.
