KANSAS CITY — A Johnson County attorney has pleaded guilty in federal district court to using the Internet to conduct sexual chats and to send pornography to who he thought was a 14-year-old girl. Samuel Logan, 46, pleaded guilty to one count of using the Internet to entice a minor to engage in sexual activity. U.S. Attorney Barry Grissom said that Logan admitted he sent 32 images of pornography and child pornography and engaged in sexual conversations over a two-month period to a person he believed to be a 14-year-old girl. The person was actually an agent with the Kansas Attorney General’s office. The images included Logan masturbating in his office. Framed diplomas and certificates were visible behind him. He gave his cell phone number to the agent and suggested they meet at Oak Park Mall in Overland Park, Grissom said. Logan was arrested at Oak Park Mall.
