OTTAWA — The Franklin County leg of the Special Olympics Torch Run will begin Wednesday morning at about 8:30 from the north Ottawa Dairy Queen. Runners from Franklin County law enforcement agencies, COF and others will go from through downtown and along Old 50 through Williamsburg to Beto Junction. Ottawa Police Lt. Adam Weingartner said this year is the 30th anniversary of the Law Enforcement Torch Run. The torch will be in Wichita for the Kansas Special Olympics Friday.
