GARNETT — The first kart races of the summer in Garnett will be this weekend on the Lake Garnett course. Because of the races, the lake road will be closed to the public Saturday and Sunday. Although there is a fee for spectators to be in the pits, others can watch the races for free. See the races at the Flatiron Corner on the south end of the course. Bring lawn chairs.
