QUENEMO — A repaving project on K-68 in Osage County will begin Friday morning. The Kansas Department of Transportation said a contract will repave a little more than 11 miles of K-68 between Lyndon and the K-268 junction north of Quenemo. Crews will work daily, Monday through Friday and possibly Saturday during daylight hours. Traffic will be directed through the project work zone via flaggers and signs. Drivers who want to enter the project work zone on K-68 from side roads should wait until they are directed by the flaggers. The project should be done in a week and a half.
