OTTAWA — Same day but different time for the Franklin County Commission. Commissioners often meet on Monday mornings for study sessions. Today, they’ll meet at 1:15 this afternoon to begin work on the budget. They’ll continue working on the budget Tuesday morning at 8:30 and Wednesday morning at 10 after the regular commission meeting. Today: Upgrades to radio frequencies and a new heating and air-conditioning system for the Franklin County Annex, and budgets for register of deeds, juvenile justice, building and grounds, and road and bridge. Tuesday: Emergency management, county attorney, appraiser, health department, information technology, solid waste and noxious weed, treasurer, EMS, planning and Centropolis sewer district; sheriff, 911 and jail. Wednesday: Mental health services, county clerk, and county commission and administration.
