SCRANTON — Weather permitting, U.S. 56 west of the U.S. 75 junction in Osage County will reopen Friday evening. The Kansas Department of Transportation said the bridge replacement project over at Hundred Ten Mile Creek is in the final stages. U.S. 56 has been closed nearly three months.
