OTTAWA – A significant storm in Franklin County last night has caused many tree limbs to fall. Franklin County’s Director of Emergency Management Alan Radcliffe said no major damage was done, but the straight-line winds were blowing strong at 65 mph. The city’s public works department will have crews pick up limbs from private yards starting Monday, and will do a second and final run through the following week. The crews can’t go down alleys and ask that limbs are curbside and run parallel to the street.
