OTTAWA — A house in the 1600 block of Kingman Road southwest of Ottawa was destroyed this morning by a fire. Lincoln-Ottawa-Harrison Fire Chief David Gibbs said the house was engulfed when firefighters arrived. No one was at home when the fire occurred, he said. The family lost nearly everything in the blaze. Gibbs said the Red Cross was notified of the fire. There was no immediate estimate of damage nor was there an immediate cause of the fire pinpointed.
