OTTAWA — The first of three concerts by Suzuki Sound Encounters students is tonight at 7 at the Carnegie Cultural Center. The second concert is Tuesday night at 7 at the Carnegie. The final concert is Friday night at 7 at the Ottawa University Chapel. All concerts are free. But Ottawa Suzuki director Alice Joy Lewis said because of limits on the number of people who can be in the Carnegie, you’ll have to get a free ticket tonight and tomorrow. After Sound Encounters, the Southwestern Suzuki Strings Institute for very young players begins Sunday. Spots are still open for Ottawa youngsters, Lewis said. To register or for information, call 242-5200, ext. 5437.
