ANDERSON COUNTY- Anderson County wheat fields are in good shape despite this spring’s crazy weather. Even with the shifts between cold and hot weather and regular thunderstorm activity, K-State research and extension agent Shannon Blocker predicts the county will turn in an average to above-average harvest with local fields producing 45 to 55 bushels per acre.
