BALDWIN CITY- Baldwin City is embarking on a major infrastructure improvement. The North 6th Street Project aims to greatly improve a busy road. According to Baldwin City Mayor Ken Wagner, 6th Street will be redone from 56 Highway north to Douglas County State Lake Road. The work is slated to begin in 2012. Wagner hopes that the construction can be done in six months in order to keep inconvenience to business owners along the route at a minimum.
