OTTAWA — Work is underway to convert Eisenhower School into an office complex for the school district. The school was closed at the end of this spring’s semester because of state school funding cuts. Work has started and asbestos ceiling tiles have been removed, said school Supt. Dean Katt.. Walls are also going up, he said. The work is scheduled to be completed by the first week of August, he said. The alternative high school, Community in Schools, PALS, district and special education offices will be moved into the building.
