OTTAWA — County employees are mobilizing to help fellow employees Kim and Gwen Breicheisen. Their house southwest of Ottawa was destroyed by a fire this week. Commissioners talked about the effort to help them at Wednesday’s meeting.
Commission chair Ed Taylor, who lives near the Brecheisens offered them the use of his barn but he said they had found other storage alternatives. Although no cause has been determined, it’s believed that the fire have been a result of lightning.
