OTTAWA — The Ottawa Fury Athletics under 9 baseball team has qualified for the World Series in Omaha in July. The team is starting a series of fundraisers beginning Friday afternoon from 12 to 8 at Wal-Mart SuperCenter. Applebee’s will host a benefit pancake feed for the team Saturday morning with tickets $5. They’ll also have a concession stand at Jayhawker Days on Saturday afternoon in Williamsburg. The team is trying to raise $6,000.
