OTTAWA — The county’s architect says construction on a new juvenile detention center at Second and Beech is looking good. At Wednesday’s county meeting, Dan Rowe, of Treanor Architects, made the first of what says he said will be monthly reports to county commissioners as construction proceeds. The footings and foundations have been poured and the slab floor should be complete in a few days, he said.
