OTTAWA — Picking up riders can sometimes get you into trouble. Deputies for the Franklin County Sheriff’s office stopped Scott Donaldson, 34, Ottawa, Thursday night. The officers found that a restraining order had been filed against him in Washington state. They also found out that the 40-year-old Ottawa man who filed the restraining order was riding in Donaldson’s car. Donaldson’s trip ended in the Franklin County jail, where he was booked for violating the restraining order.
