PAOLA — A 57-year-old Greeley woman has been charged in Miami County District Court in connection with a fatal accident during a winter storm. Denise Holloman faces charges of involuntary manslaughter and endangerment of a child. She is free on $25,000 bond. Holloman was the driver of a vehicle involved in a two-vehicle crash that killed two people. Her 1-year-old grandson Hudson Dunn of Parker, and the other driver, 66-year-old Mary Stussy of Wisconsin, were killed. Two passengers in Holloman’s vehicle were injured. Miami County officers say Holloman crossed the center line of U.S. 169 and was driving too fast for icy conditions. They said none of the grandchildren in her vehicle were properly restrained. Another fatal accident occurred moments before in about same spot. Holloman’s preliminary hearing is July 29.
