WILLIAMSBURG — Law officers had been looking for someone in Osage County who may have been involved in a bungled burglary in Franklin County. According to preliminary reports, a neighbor saw an intruder at a house near the corner of Allen and Georgia roads west of Richmond. The neighbor called the sheriff’s department and followed the intruder’s pickup to Williamsburg where deputies caught up with them.
The truck took off on John Brown Road and raced into Osage County. After the truck had a blown out a tire after crossing a bridge, the driver got out and ran on foot. Anderson and Osage county deputies had been searching the area. More details weren’t immediately available.
