LENEXA — A 22-year-old Gardner man was taken to Overland Park Regional Hospital as a result of two-vehicle accident Tuesday afternoon on I-35 in Lenexa. The Kansas Highway Patrol said Michael Baca was driving north in I-35’s center lane when he was distracted by something in his SUV. His vehicle struck a car driven by Amelia Williams, 40, Lenexa, and then smashed into a barrier wall, troopers said. Williams was also taken to Overland Park Regional Hospital.
