GARNETT- Garnett is hosting the Ethanol Hydroplane Nationals this weekend from noon to 5:00 on Saturday and Sunday. The event is bringing in boat racers from 20 states. National Boat Racing Association Representative Vernon Barfield said that the 12:00 start time will kick off lots of excitement and intensity. At a $5 entrance fee, ticket holders will have a chance to watch the races, meet the drivers, take pictures, sit in the boats, and get autographs. This is biggest event Garnett has hosted in over 30 years.
