OTTAWA- Wheat harvest is in full swing throughout Franklin County and has been successful thus far. Franklin County Agriculture and Natural Resources Agent Darren Hibdon Darren Hibdon said that yields have been between 35-45 bushel per acre, and test weights right about 61 pounds. The nice weather has aided the harvesting and Hibdon said a clear forecast would continue to move the work right along.
