BALDWIN CITY-Baldwin City is suffering a community sadness as long time resident Gary Walbridge passed away on Thursday. Walbridge attended high school in Baldwin and was an active community member serving on the city council for 8 years and serving one term as city mayor. At the age of 59, Walbridge retired from his job at Baker University’s Baldwin City campus working as the Director of Physical Plant. A visitation for Walbridge will be held Monday night from 6:00 -8:00 at the Lamb Roberts Funeral Home in Baldwin City, with the funeral on Tuesday at 11:00 at the First United Methodist Church, also in Baldwin City.
