OSAWATOMIE – When Osawatomie area kids jumped into the Miami County Family YMCA on June 14 they had more than swimming, kicking, paddling and diving in mind. The Osawatomie Graphic reported they were part of a world-wide try to set a Guinness World Record for the world’s largest swimming lesson. YMCA executive director Ashley Wohlgemuth said photos and videos were submitted to Guinness officials Monday.
