LOUISBURG- Independence Day is only three days out and Louisburg is preparing to host its annual Freedom Fest celebration. The event gets underway at 6:00 on Monday and some of the entertainment includes a color guard ceremony, music from local talent, and a softball tournament between teams from area churches. Sponsored by Louisburg businesses, local organizations, and citizens, the night will be capped off with a fireworks show. The festival will take place at the Lewis-Young Park.
