OTTAWA-With the excess heat advisory issued by the National Weather Service, Ottawa’s Recreation Commission has opened up its doors today for anyone needing to cool down. The Summer Playground kids will be off at the pool leaving the gym and classroom open and able to serve as a cooling station. The ORC is open until 5:00 this evening.
