OTTAWA — Ottawa’s Jaycee members are gearing up for their annual firework show tonight. This is the only event the group sponsors every year and it has been for over 30 years. Jaycee member Rex Carswell organizes the show and says that in order to ensure a successful one, he has to make sure all of his ducks are in a row, which includes having a lot of helping hands. “We’ll need between 15-20 people to get it to go off like we need to,” Carswell says. The public can expect about a 30-minute show that will begin around 9:30 at Forest Park.
