OTTAWA — Two Ottawa teenagers ended up in the juvenile detention center following several incidents of vandalism over the weekend. Ottawa police received several reports of vandalism, including damage to an apartment complex in the 800 block of South Poplar, a traffic sign in the 700 block of South Poplar, a parked vehicle and fence in the 700 block of South Mulberry, a storage shed in the 500 block of East Eighth Street, and a street sign and concrete street marker at Eighth and Mulberry. Police said a 17-year-old boy was arrested in the area. A 16-year-old was later arrested as an accomplice, police said.
