OTTAWA- Tomorrow marks the annual Plow Harvest Days sponsored by the Power of the Past Antique Engine and Tractor Association. The organizations mission is “to preserve the past, bring back the memories of days gone by, and create a learning experience for younger generations through demonstrations of equipment at various events throughout the year.” President Richard Mullins said the organizations mission statement will be demonstrated at tomorrow’s event.
“We will be binding some wheat with a 1930s model wheat binder,” said Mullins. “We would like for people to see that, see how it goes.”
The event will take place at the Melton Lutz’s Farm at 59 Highway and Rock Creek Road, will get started around 10 in the morning, and will go until 3-4 in the afternoon.
