FREDONIA — A former Ottawa cable television employee charged with a sex crime is still the Running Man. Charles Christopher “Chris” Taylor failed to show up for sentencing in Wilson County District Court in February after he had pleaded guilty to a charge relating to an incident in which he used Facebook to lure an Ottawa teenager and took her from Ottawa High School to a place near Fredonia for sex. Taylor was the subject of a three-day manhunt in northern Anderson County after his employer, Allegiance Cable, used a satellite signal to disable his company truck at the request of Ottawa police. He was caught at Allegiance’s tower northwest of Garnett. Wilson County Attorney Jill Chard said Taylor may have fled to Tennessee, where he has family. Chard asks if you know of Taylor’s whereabouts to call police.
