OTTAWA — The local Farm Service Agency said that Aug. 1 is the last day for area farmers to report their 2011 planted acreages of corn, soybeans, milo and other land uses. A complete report of the planted acreage is needed to be eligible for nearly all government farm program payments, FSA’s David Hornung said.
