FRANKLIN COUNTY- This past Wednesday brought a handful of reported burglaries throughout the area. In Wellsville, two chainsaws and a dirt bike were reported stolen from a garage at an estimated loss of over $1000. In Ottawa, a lady reported a missing fire pit and chairs. A woman in Rantoul said her lawnmower and a gas can were stolen from her property with an estimated loss of 85 dollars. A man in Pomona said the title to his vehicle was stolen from inside the car.
