2 people are on the run after a robbery Friday Morning at Great Southern Bank. Ottawa Police Chief Dennis Butler has the details.

The suspect was believed to have a weapon but never brandished one. None of the bank employees were hurt during the robbery. The male suspect is believed to be in his 30s or 40s, thin, 6 feet tall, scruffy beard and unshaven with goatee. He was last seen wearing a plaid long sleeve shirt, camouflage hat and dirty worn blue jeans. The female suspect is white and has dirty blonde hair. They were seen leaving in a red pick-up truck. The truck was a 70’s-80’s model, Nissan or Toyota, single cab with rust on the passenger side bed. The Franklin County sheriff’s and police department are currently at the scene and the FBI will be assisting the investigation.
