LAWRENCE — A medical fund has been set up for the family of a 13-year-old Maple Hill girl who was injured when her bicycle was hit by a pickup two weeks ago about two miles south of Lawrence. The Kansas Highway Patrol said that Mikal Bond failed to stop at a stop sign before she was hit. The Lawrence Journal-World reported that she was taking part in the Lawrence Bicycle Club’s Lizard Under the Skillet bicycle ride with her parents when the accident occurred. She has been listed in critical condition at Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City since the accident. Donations are accepted through the Mikal Bond Fund in care of Community National Bank, 5431 S.W. 29th St.,
