TOPEKA — A Topeka woman died and two others were injured Saturday night because of carbon monoxide poisoning in southwestern Topeka. Officials told the Topeka Capital-Journal that people had jump-started a car battery and were letting the car run in a garage when they were overcome by the carbon monoxide. The city hasn’t released the names of the victims.
