MOUND CITY — A 55-year-old Mound City woman was taken to a Kansas City hospital as a result of a one-vehicle accident on K-7 north of Mound City Tuesday. The Kansas Highway Patrol said Deborah Heaton was driving north on K-7 when her car left the highway. Troopers said she over-corrected and her car hit a guard rail and rolled over.
She was taken to Research Medical Center in Kansas City.
