POMONA — A 26-year-old Pomona motorcyclist received injuries when he hit a turkey standing on the road Saturday night at Labette and Idaho roads, the Franklin County Sheriff’s office said. After he hit the turkey, Joshua Underwood’s bike left the roadway. There was no immediate word on if he was taken to a hospital.
