LAWRENCE — The Douglas County Sheriff’s office said deputies and medical crews found a dead man in a mobile camper at Campground Number 1 at the Clinton Lake State Park Monday. It appears the man had been dead for some time, Sgt. Steve Lewis said. The cause of death is pending an autopsy but there’s no evidence of foul play in the camper, he said. Authorities are still trying to identify the man.
