OTTAWA — Kansas Department of Transportation maintenance crews have just started a project to repair a collapsed embankment on the south side of K-68 in Franklin County.] The road work is west of the Nugent Creek bridge west of Ottawa. Traffic has been reduced to one lane controlled by signals. KDOT says to expect delays of 15 minutes or less. However, a driving-lane width restriction of 12 feet is in effect. The project should be finished in mid-August, weather permitting, KDOT says.
