GARNETT–The Anderson County Fair Demolition Derby has something besides crashing cars—-crashing combines. One participant is Rick Feuerborn, and he says the combines are about 40 years old, and the sickles and glass has to be removed and a seatbelt installed. He says it can cost $1000 to fix up a combine enough…only to crash it. He says the fun is worth it though. It all will happen at 7 on Saturday at the rodeo arena in Garnett’s North Lake Park. Advance tickets are $5, and tickets at the gate are $10. Advance tickets are available at all Anderson County bank locations or at the Extension Office.
