OTTAWA–First of all, they received a new home, and now they have a free education. Ottawa University has announced it has awarded three full-tuition scholarships to the Hill family of Ottawa as part of ABC’s “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition.” Retired Staff Sergeant Allen Hill received a full-tuition scholarship to enroll in O-U’s adult program at any of the University’s campuses or online. Hill’s sons, Makale, 15, and Dreyson, 8, also get full-tuition, four-year scholarships. Each scholarship is valued at $84,800 for a total of $254,400. Gina Hill is a 1996 O-U graduate, and expressed her gratitude that her family will join her as alumni of O-U.
