PLEASANTON — A Missouri woman was killed and three of her passengers were injured in a one-vehicle crash on U.S. 69 north of Pleasanton Wednesday morning. The Kansas Highway Patrol said Shirley Barker, 33, Butler, Mo., was driving north on U.S. 69 when a tire blew out. She lost control of her vehicle and it overturned in the ditch.
She was killed. Injured were Halie Harper, 15, Cherokee Jestis, 14, and Shaunee Jestis, 13, all of Butler. They were all taken to Overland Park Regional Hospital.
