LANE — It was the end of the road for a man who tried to outrun Miami County officers.
Franklin County deputies and a Kansas Highway Patrol helicopter ended the run at Butler and Texas roads southwest of Lane Friday night. The Franklin County Sheriff’s office said deputies arrested James Best, 30, Greeley. He was transferred to officers of the Osawatomie Police Department.
