OTTAWA — Two men charged in connection with rural burglaries and a chase into Osage County, Daniel Ansbaugh of Pomona and Eric Fox of Quenemo, are free on bond. A neighbor spotted a suspicious pickup at a farm west of Richmond and called the sheriff’s office and followed the pickup. Deputies caught up with them near Williamsburg and chased the truck into Osage County, where it hit a bridge. One man was arrested at the scene. The other man escaped but a suspect was picked up later by Osage County deputies. Ansbaugh faces charges in connection with two burglaries.
After Fox made bond last week, his hearing was continued to this Wednesday.
