OTTAWA — New Ottawa University students got to meet local businesses and members of the community at Fusion activities Monday night. For the first time, Fusion was held downtown and not at the campus. Students also got to see new OU banners hung downtown and at the college. City manager Richard Nienstedt said it took a joint effort by the city and university to get the banners hung, and the university agreed to let other groups hang banners from the mounts.
