MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. — Ferrellgas has settled a two-year-old lawsuit by the Minnesota attorney general. Attorney General Lori Sswanson said the propane energy company based in Overland Park has has settled for $450,000. In a statement issued Tuesday, Swanson said she sued Ferrellgas in 2009, accusing the company of failing to disclose prices and adding unexpected fees. The company has more than 50,000 Minnesota propane customers, who will receive proceeds from the settlement. The company said it welcomes the settlement.
