OTTAWA — At their meeting this week, the Ottawa school board members approved an proposed settlement that puts them closer to a deal on a contract for the Ottawa teachers.
Supt. Dean Katt said board representatives will discuss it with negotiators for the teachers next week. The proposed deal offers a 1 percent pay hike to teachers, as well as moving most teachers across the district’s pay plan, which would be addition money.
